JamPlus 0.4 nearing release

Added by Joshua Jensen about 9 years ago

The current nightly builds represent the upcoming 0.4 release of JamPlus. There is some new functionality not yet documented, but for the most part, the Jambase, workspace generation, and executable are nearly there.

You can help us out by pounding on the current nightlies. Help us find anything that isn't working properly, and give us some ideas on where you would like to see better documentation.

I'll be available rarely over the next few days, but I will check in when I can.

Thanks!

Josh

Couple of things ive found so far :

The wxWidgets module doesnt work on the mac, its missing the wx-congig options... adding in the equivalent of a 'wx-config --cppflags' to the C++ flags will get most of it.

On the documentation front i think the docs surrounding setting some of the compiler flags is a little thin (at least its an area that seems to take a while to debug when im changing stuff)

Thanks for the info. I was aware it was different, but I hadn't dug in yet to see why.

I'm not sure when I can get to this, but I'll do so a soon as I can.

Its actually missing a couple of things, i'll post my working wxWidget.jam file when i get home later (hacked it up a bit just to work for 2.9.0, but also works with 2.8.10) but the main missing bits are :

a. Include directory for the setup.h (usually in ./libs/wx/config/<build id>/include
b. The required defines can be found with wx-config --cppflags
c. Its missing the required Frameworks (can be found with wx-config --libs)
