xcode workspace generation

Added by Kevin Thacker over 5 years ago

I have a project that will generate a visual studio solution/project with jam with no errors.

When I tried to do the same for xcode, FolderTree in xcode.lua was nil.
If I add a check to only add the project if this is not nil, then generation succeeds.
The generated workspace/project is good and it can be built.

I used this command-line on mac:

jam --workspace -gen=xcode jamfile.jam build

and this on pc:

jam --workspace -gen=vs2010 jamfile.jam build

Is there something I need to add to my jamfiles so that it will generate a workspace for xcode and FolderTree will not be nil?

My local fix is:

if FolderTree==nil then

else
FolderTree.InsertName(project.SourcesTree, "Products", 'app>' .. info.ExecutablePath)
project._insertedapp = true
end

I setup the projects/workspace as needed for visual studio and that works great, anything additional/different for xcode?

Thanks.

I don't have my Mac out at the moment, but wasn't this fixed 2 weeks ago in 8248293369a559cbf39381073de4c2b6ae5661e0?
