Problems bootstrapping Jamplus 3 on Win32
Added by Anonymous over 4 years ago
I just grabbed the latest from the jamplus3 branch and was following the guide for bootstrapping on win32.
When running Jam to build lua52-luaplus, I am seeing the following errors:
* Not building p4, because the p4api/ directory does not exist. * Not building cURL, because libcurl is not installed. * Not building luacrypto, because OpenSSL is not installed. * Not building luasec, because OpenSSL is not installed. * Not building md5, sha1, sha256, sha384, and sha512, because OpenSSL is not installed. don't know how to make <c/win32/release:luaevent:prebuiltlib>libeay32MT don't know how to make <c/win32/release:luaevent:prebuiltlib>ssleay32MT
Then when jmake is called again the following errors occur:
.\obj\jam0.exe -sJAM_MODULES_PATH=../bin/modules -f../bin/Jambase.jam -sCONFIG=releaseltcg -sPLATFORM=win32 don't know how to make E:\Git\jamplus\src/luaplus/.build/bin.lua52-luaplus.vs2013.win32/lua/ssl.lua don't know how to make E:\Git\jamplus\src/luaplus/.build/bin.lua52-luaplus.vs2013.win32/modules/md5.dll don't know how to make E:\Git\jamplus\src/luaplus/.build/bin.lua52-luaplus.vs2013.win32/modules/ssl.dll ... NMAKE : fatal error U1077: '.\obj\jam0.exe' : return code '0x1'
The errors seem to imply I need OpenSSL installed. Am I missing a step of the process here? I'm just running "bootstrap-win32.bat".
Hopefully, all of this stuff is resolved in the 'master' branch, although OpenSSL is needed if you want the automatic webserver to serve apps to iOS devices.
